I enjoy making art, and making people laugh. I keep a notebook with me at all times, where I record humorous thoughts as words or thumbnail sketches. The ones with the greatest visual and humorous potential are later developed into drawing studies, where my concerns are character development, design, and spatial relationships. In the final color stage, I concentrate on atmosphere, mood, and color harmony. At other times, I might construct an image from a simple mark on a page, and develop a story during the process.
